These are the three restaurants in Zurich I have eaten at myself and would recommend.
Really tasty Swiss food in a very old school setting. I especially recommend the veal sausage. The actual building dates back to 1862. Their walls are covered in a carefully curated selection of paintings they've collected over the years.

A cosy, historic restaurant in Zürich's old town on the Strehlgasse, part of the charming Kindli boutique hotel. It serves refined Swiss cuisine in an elegant, characterful setting, and is listed in the MICHELIN Guide. This is the main reason I go to Zurich...to eat here. I always have the Zürcher Geschnetzeltes (its heavenly).
