A wine bar on Gertrude Street in Fitzroy, from the group behind Cutler & Co and Supernormal. Interesting restaurant with inventive dishes and a great wine list.

Probably my favourite meal in Melbourne and it was actually my first as well. Really funky looking place with great service. Everything was delicious especially the duck.

A South East Asian restaurant on Flinders Lane in the CBD. One of the best meals I had in Melbourne. Delicious food in a lovely little restaurant (maybe a bit cramped but cosy).

Difficult to classify, Butchers Diner is a small restaurant or coffee shop or deli. They serve burgers but also various international options. The burger is delicious and the place is quirky and fun so definitely worth a visit.

Nice little Italian restaurant on Little Bourke St with pan European influences. Also famous for their bread.

Absolutely amazing pizza at +39 Pizzeria. I can't recommend it enough probably one of the best pizzas I've had.

Kate Reid's croissanterie, which she started in 2012 after working as a Formula One aerodynamicist, with bakeries in Fitzroy, Armadale and the CBD. Lovely and very popular croissant place in Melbourne with queues around the block. But the queue moves quickly and the croissants are delicious so it's worth the wait.
