Lovely place to try traditional Spanish fare in an upscale setting. This is a place I can't miss if I'm in Barcelona.

They serve tapas, Mediterranean & global dishes on the side of the food/produce market. Really delicious food with incredibly fresh ingredients. The setting is also fun and their menu is like a matrix where they list out the types of ingredients on one side vs. the type of cuisine on the other to help you pick. I go here at least once when I'm in Barcelona.

A Galician-leaning tapas bar on Carrer de Lleida in Poble Sec, from the Iglesia brothers of Rías de Galicia. Great little tapas place with both seafood and meat options.

A gastrobar on Carrer del Rec Comtal in Sant Pere, in a converted textile shop, open since 2013. Nice little cosy tapas place. Great for a late night bite as well.
