All about the num num is a personal website where I share lists of restaurants I have enjoyed in the cities I have visited. This page explains what information the site collects and what happens to it.
This site is run by an individual, not a company. If you have any question about your information, or you want something removed, email hello@allaboutthenumnum.com.
The comment form asks for your name, your email address and your comment. Your IP address is also recorded, which is used only to limit repeat submissions and reduce spam. Your name and comment may be shown publicly on the site if the comment is approved. Your email address is never published and is not used to send you marketing.
Comments are reviewed before they appear. If you would like a comment removed after it has been published, email the address above and it will be deleted.
You do not need to give any information to read the site. The web server keeps standard access logs (including IP addresses) for security and to keep the site running. The site is protected by a security service that also sets cookies for this purpose.
If you accept analytics cookies, the site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. This tells me things like how many people visited and which cities are most viewed. It does not tell me who you are. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected.
These are provided by Google, and their own privacy terms apply to the data they receive.
Your information is never sold, rented or shared with advertisers. There is no mailing list and no marketing email is sent.
Approved comments stay on the site until you ask for them to be removed. Comments that are not approved are deleted. Analytics data is kept for the default period set by Google Analytics.
If you are in the UK or the European Union you have the right to ask what information is held about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. To do any of these, email hello@allaboutthenumnum.com and it will be handled.
Details of every cookie the site uses are on the Cookie Policy page, including how to change your choice at any time.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
