This is the one place in Valpolicella I have eaten at myself and would recommend.
A family-style inn up above San Rocco in Marano di Valpolicella, where the last vineyards of the valley meet the pastures of the Lessinia hills. Chef Mauro Caldaroni, who worked with Enrico Bartolini and Giancarlo Perbellini, cooks classic local recipes with a modern touch, using ingredients from a few kilometres around, and it’s in the Michelin Guide. Delicious food with a beautiful view of the region.
