Ravintola Merimakasiini is a seafood restaurant on the waterfront. The food is simple but delicious.

Beautiful looking cafe which used to be a bank that was refurbished into a restaurant and cafe. They also have a really nice outdoor terrace.

I know a restaurant in a mall might be off putting but Fisken på Disken isn't your typical mall restaurant. They specialise in seafood and they use seasonal ingredients so the menu changes frequently.

A Helsinki pizzeria group with AVPN certification, baking Neapolitan pizzas in wood-fired ovens. Great pizza and nice looking place - especially if you need a break from Finnish food.

A Finnish café chain that grew out of the coffee roastery Robert Paulig set up in Helsinki in 1987, with the first shop opening in 1992. While it's a local coffee chain they had pretty great ice cream too.

Helsinki's first indoor market hall, designed by Gustaf Nyström and opened by the Market Square in 1889. Great food hall with all kinds of Scandinavian dishes to try. Highly recommend the Skagen.
