Breizh Café has some of the best crepes and galettes you'll have in Paris. Great place to stop for a bite when in the Marais. They also have branches in Japan as well as a Japanese restaurant.

Dilia is a very cozy little innovative Italian restaurant. They serve inventive takes on traditional Italian dishes. If you want to try something different but still want to get your pasta fix then Dilia would be a good one to try when in Paris.

The famous Du Pain et des Idées bakery is phenomenal so of course have to queue. I don't normally queue for food but this one is worth it. I recommend plugging in your headphones and listening to a podcast or audio book to help the time fly by if you're on your own like I was. Try the famous escargot with pistachio or pecans.

It's nothing special but just typical American style breakfast in Paris (where you should really be enjoying delicious French pastries and cheeses). Also, you have to queue no matter what day of the week it is. However, if you're really craving a typical American breakfast this is the place for you.

Toraya is this great little Japanese restaurant off the rue Saint-Honoré in Paris; so it's perfect for a shopping break. But it is pretty small so be prepared to wait if you go at peak times. You can also buy Japanese sweets to go. I've only ever been for afternoon tea.
