Kushinobo Roppongi Hills

The Roppongi Hills branch of Kushinobo, the Osaka kushiage house that started at Hozen-ji in 1950, is on the fifth floor of West Walk. This is the refined Kansai version rather than the Shinsekai sort: around thirty skewers of meat, fish, and vegetables in a light batter, each brought out as it's fried with its own salt or sauce. One important thing to note at kushiage places in Japan is that you have to tell them when to stop, or the skewers will keep coming.
