Munich's grand coffee house tradition, alive since 1888. Near Odeonsplatz, it pairs a light, airy palm-court room with a serious patisserie counter: house pralines, elaborate cakes and proper coffee specialities. Breakfast runs daily until 3pm, with a full menu into the evening. A civilised place to linger.
